Nicole Kuepper:Electricity can make such a difference in people's life. They can read at night, they no longer have to breath noxious fumes from things like kerosene lamps, you can listen to the radio and be informed about what's happening in your country and other countries , listen to the educational programmes, you can refrigerate vaccines that can save people's life, it's just the amount of things that we take for granted in today's society that some people don't have accessed to it, just mind-boggling when you step back and starts think about it.
Charles Darwin:Doing what little one can to increase the general stock of knowledge is as respectable an object of life, as one can in any likelihood pursue.
Stephen Hawking:The whole history of science has been the gradual realization that events do not happen in an arbitrary manner, but that they reflect a certain underlying order, which may or may not be divinely inspired.
